It was a stormy February day back in 07 when we picked up our newest addition to the family. We were now dog parents to a black and white, blue nose pittbull. He wasnt named right away. Matter of fact it took us 5 days to study his habits and behaviors. He was always either finding himself in a bind, or us dads were getting into some sort of reprimand over him. Even on that cold blustery February night we brought you home. We went to a local box store to get him food dishes, food, toys, and some other pet odds and ends . Needless to say Aries was stuffed in my jacket and there we went inside the store. I wasnt about to leave this new puppy inside my car on such a cold snowy night. Once we were just about getting everything we needed, a worker saw me rearranging my jacket and thought I was shoplifting... so needless to say I wasnt . She asked what I had in my jacket. And Im kinda upset being told I was shoplifting, but I remained calm and respect the worker. Its a dog she said. And then started to lecture me about how animals were not allowed in the store. We decided after all, his name was going to be Aries chew. He was always finding war between the cats or finding himself in a odd situation. Let me tell you, his name fit him.One summer day dads brought me fishing with them. Dad sat down his fish pole, with the worm baited on the hook... As curious as Aries always was he went over and ate the worm and fishhook. He was a loyal boy. First dog we have owned on our own and I miss him so much. I wake up at night hearing him walk thru the house.
