Simon was an amazing little man who captured the hearts of everyone he met. He was the kindest soul, always watching over his family with amazing intuition. If a family member was ill or upset, he would be there, holding a hand with a loud, calming purr. Simon had an amazing sense of humor, and he knew it. One of his favorite comical things to do was to stare at his family while they ate, tap a leg or hand, asking for a bite, sniff the food, then bolt away as fast as possible as if completely offended by the food. He loved chasing his human mother and would initiate the chase by pawing at her pant leg. Simon was an incredibly quiet soul, especially for a Siamese cat. It was rare to hear a meow. He loved to meditate with his mother, holding her hand during the meditation. If she was late,, he would go to her as if to say,, "Come on, it's meditation time." This was always initiated by Simon. He was a snuggle bug and looked forward to his night time snuggles with his mother. One of the greatest memories of Simon was when he woke his mother, petting her face while looking lovingly at her, purring. He was the sweetest soul.Simon passed away peacefully at home in the arms of his (human) mother and brother after a long illness. Throughout his illness his humor and kindness continued. Although incredibly quiet, his personality filled every room. The silence now, as clich as it sounds, is deafening. He is so missed.Simon is survived by his human mother and brother Pam Sheridan and Bruce Palmer, as well as his adopted feline siblings Phillip, Atticus, and Milo. We were all so fortunate to have Simon in our lives. He will never be forgotten.
